Dosing Device – ReadyLube: Dose!
ReadyLube: Dose! is a standardized dosing unit for component-specific, contact-based lubricant application in industrial production processes. It enables operator-independent, highly repeatable lubrication, improving product quality, process reliability, and efficiency. Thanks to its compact design and autonomous operation, the dosing unit can be quickly and easily integrated into existing production lines and assembly workstations. Once the media supply and compressed air are connected, ReadyLube is immediately ready for operation.
How does ReadyLube: Dose! work?
- A dedicated application head is designed for each component, ensuring precise lubricant delivery to the desired location.
- To apply lubrication, the component is simply placed onto the application head or mandrel, automatically triggering the dosing process.
- Within milliseconds, the lubricant is applied with high precision. The dosing quantity can be individually adjusted.
- After dosing, the component is removed from the application head/mandrel and can be processed immediately. Alternatively, component loading and removal can be automated, e.g., using a robot.
Application Methods in Detail: With ReadyLube: Dose!, lubricant is precisely applied to the component via specialized lubrication channels within the application head. Two application principles are possible.
- Point-based application: The lubricant is dosed through a bore opening to ensure precise application at defined locations.
- Lubrication via forced gap: The lubricant is guided through a narrow gap geometry between the application head and the component, enabling controlled distribution within the contact surfaces. This method is particularly advantageous for sliding guides or seals.
Applications: ReadyLube: Dose! is suitable for lubricating functional external surfaces of components such as gears and joints, seals and O-rings, as well as hard-to-reach component areas such as bores and bearing bushes, internal joints and threaded sections, or lubrication channels within assemblies. Depending on requirements, lubricant can be applied to both internal and external areas simultaneously.
Flexibility & Cost-Effectiveness: Thanks to easily exchangeable application heads, the ReadyLube: Dose! dosing unit can be flexibly adapted for different component series. This makes it particularly cost-effective for small-series production and variable manufacturing processes.
ReadyLube: Dose! is available in two versions...
